I am seriously thinking of working in another sector as well, sometimes it can get really boring but IT is my strong point and I am pretty good at it. I sometimes wonder about marketing or something like that. Im determined to do a masters in something else than IT

Don’t give up, I know its hard, and can only imagine. There's noway he should be comparing you to any other student for a start and secondly, he shouldn't be sending out circular emails like that!!!
